Braunstone Stable Block Museum
Heritage Open Day: Old stables to Braunstone Hall (Winstanley Hotel now). We have 5 rooms of displays of local history and details of the last Lord of the Manor, Major Richard Winstanley. We are curators of the Museum situated in the old stable block that belonged to Braunstone Hall. There are artefacts on display that belonged to the Winstanley family and lots of information on the history of the area and the Hall. Our volunteers are very knowledgeable on the local history.
