Heritage Open Day: Cook Street and Swanswell Gates will be open to visitors from 1300 – 1600 on Sunday 21 September Cook Street Gate (1385) and Swanswell Gate (1440) are the only surviving gates of Coventry’s city wall, constructed between 1356 and 1534. They were acquired by Historic Coventry Trust in 2020, restored and are now holiday apartments. Visitors will be able to do self-guided tours round the gates.
