The Peace Church - formerly Church Street Presbyterian Church

Heritage Open Day: Here's your chance to see inside a building in Berwick hidden up an alleyway. You may not have known it was there. Come and find out more about its history both past and present. A new site in this year's programme. The Church was originally built in 1812 by the Anti Burghers. It could seat about 500 people. In 1917, it joined with Shaw's Lane ( Chapel Street) Presbyterian Church to form St Aidan's. In 1972, the church became a United Reformed Church and subsequently closed. Latterly, it has been known as the Peace Church. Come along and see this amazing building and find out more about its history.
