Recreating Elizabethan Berwick - talk

Heritage Open Day: Lady of the Quay (Isabella Gillhespy Series: Book 1) is the first of a new series of historical mystery-thriller novels, set in Berwick-upon-Tweed in 1560. Join author Amanda Roberts to find out more about her inspiration and process in writing it. Isabella’s fictional, but authentic, world is a blend of historical record and imagination, which brings the 16th century town during the fascinating and turbulent Tudor period back to life. Join the author for an informal evening and hear about the inspiration behind this series, the research that goes into a work of historical fiction, the ‘world-building’ process and the final production of a published novel.

If you wish to buy a book after the talk, Amanda will be very happy to sign copies.
