Bramcote Old Church Tower

Heritage Open Day: Bramcote Old Church Tower is a Grade II listed building in the heart of Bramcote Conservation area. The Tower is all that is left of a 13th century church, recently restored and renovated, thanks to a grant from National Lottery Heritage Fund. Bramcote Tower is situated on raised ground in the centre of the village.
Inside the Tower there are several memorials/plaques constructed of alabaster, marble and oolitic limestone. We also have a resident colony of brown long-eared bats, plus a few pipistrelles. Two unique stained glass windows have been installed recently and there is an Audio Visual unit with pictures, text and videos which tell the story of the Tower as we know it.
