Heritage Open Day: A timeline of Berkhamsted history through a photographic exhibition of lost buildings from Roman times to present day. You can follow a brief history of Berkhamsted from Roman times, through medieval, early modern to our present day. Visitors can learn about some of the lost buildings of Berkhamsted. The photos,with a brief history and explanation of their unique importance to the town, will show the homes people lived in, the places where they worked and the pubs where they drank. Find out where these buildings were located and what the Town would have looked like years ago.
