Heritage Open Day: A timeline of Berkhamsted history through a photographic exhibition of lost buildings from Roman times to present day. You can follow a brief history of Berkhamsted from Roman times, through medieval, early modern to our present day. Visitors can learn about some of the lost buildings of Berkhamsted. The photos,with a brief history and explanation of their unique importance to the town, will show the homes people lived in, the places where they worked and the pubs where they drank.
