Heritage Open Day: Handsworth Museum is situated in the stable range adjoining St Mary’s Parish Church, dating back to circa 1800. It is a registered Grade II listed building. Our museum boasts a diverse collection of local history and memorabilia, including a 1613 copy of the King James Bible, tithe maps, local records, intriguing displays, and historical games available for interaction. It also features an exquisite eighteenth-century dovecote room, exemplifying architectural heritage accessible right in our community.
