Discover the Architectural Treasures of Bradgate Park

Heritage Open Day: Discover the Architectural and Geological Treasures of Bradgate Park Bradgate Park invites you to explore its rich architectural and geological heritage through open access and engagement with the Charnwood Forest Geo Park.

Visitors can walk through the atmospheric ruins of Bradgate House, once the childhood home of Lady Jane Grey, England’s Nine Days’ Queen, and gain a deeper understanding of the estate’s remarkable Tudor history.

For this day only, the iconic Old John Tower, a well-known Leicestershire landmark, will be open to the public. Normally closed at weekends, this is a rare chance to go inside and learn about the tower’s history and its place in the Bradgate landscape.
