Launch of the Stone Library, Sheffield Hallam University

Heritage Open Day: Discover a unique resource, originally designed to enable one of London's leading building restoration contractors to satisfy an architect's specification to match the existing as closely as possible, which has now been adapted for educational use. The Stone Library will showcase low carbon geomaterials and composites which are used in building conservation and in newbuild construction. There is open access to view the collection which will be of use to building conservation/restoration and heritage professionals in the region as well as forming a stunning visual installation.
