Christ Church Barnton Heritage Day - Remembering 1945
Heritage Open Day: Our church will be open to the pubic with themed floral displays remembering parish life at the end of WWII. There will also be live music and a family themed Time Travellers Treasure Hunt around the village. Church Hall refreshments available. Come and experience a little slice of living history as we recreate that end of wartime feel in our church and church hall. With volunteers dressed for the occasion we will be displaying floral themed windows and spaces that give a flavour of parish life in 1945. Come and hear our wonderful organist and hear our community choir as we share music and songs from this crucial moment in history. A sheet will be available with a guided walk around the village with an inbuilt treasure hunt to see if family members can work together to find out what used to be in the village and where......
