The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,abridged for schools

A winner of the Tony and Olivier Awards, Simon Stephen's remarkable adaptation on Mark Haddon's famous novel tells the story of fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone who has an extraordinary brain and is exceptional at maths but is ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. How will he cope with the death of Wellington, his next-door neighbour's dog, which he found at 7 minutes after midnight on his neighbour's front lawn, speared with a garden fork? And on top of that, his parents have split up and his mother has died. Or has she?
Hallam '89 Theatre Club's production, using a version intended originally for schools, will have young and old sitting on the edge of their seats one minute and roaring with laughter the next. Certainly one not to be missed!
