Brightwell cum Sotwell Apple Day
Come along and celebrate all things apple at the biggest and best Apple Day in Oxfordshire. You will be amazed at the display of over 50 varieties of heritage apple varieties with a huge range that you will never see in any other village.
There will be 4 hours of juice pressing. Why not have a go at making juice yourself. It’s great fun throwing apples into the press and bottling the juice as it flows in minutes. You can bottle some up and take it home.
You will have an opportunity to taste all sorts of fabulous apples, cider and juice and choose from a huge range of cakes, pies, flans, flapjacks, muffins and bakes – all made with apple! plus a playground and stream to work off all that sugar!
We will have great food and drinks stalls, recipe books, specialty vinegars, local apple themed pottery plus tours of the community orchard explaining why this village is so spectacular.
Considerate street parking only or take the number 33/33A bus and walk through the beautiful lanes to the recreation ground.
