FREE taster session with the York Rock Choir

If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local York Rock Choir.

Your local York choir is run by vocal coach Kate Peters. Our No.1 Album gave ordinary people the chance to become chart-topping singers, and Rock Choir is continually giving our members bigger and better opportunities to achieve things they never thought they could do - from supporting national charities like Sign2sing, British Airways Flying Start and the Moonwalk to singing at the UK's top performing arts venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo. But through all this excitement, we never lose track of our local community roots. Visit this link https://rockchoir.com/events-and-performances-near-you to see more about our activities in North Yorkshire.

We sing in York every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not check out our choir events page at rockchoir.com? There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local York community together through something as simple as singing in a choir.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'If you want to smile and sing for an hour and a half, go to Rock Choir. Getting on stage is so rewarding and when your 6 year-old says how proud he is of his mummy, then it's worth every moment!' - Caroline Jopling (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
