Leighton Buzzard will be transported back to the golden age of folk rock this September as The Sounds of Simon bring their spellbinding tribute to Paul Simon and Simon & Garfunkel to the stage of Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre, part of the Everyone Theatres network.
On Friday 26 September at 7:30pm, the UK’s leading Simon & Garfunkel tribute act will perform live, delivering classic hits such as The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Graceland and more.
Expect stunning harmonies, authentic arrangements, and a performance that captures the nostalgic magic of some of the greatest song writing of the 20th century.
“It’s not just a concert – it’s a celebration of some of the greatest song writing ever written,” says Mark Rutherford, Theatre Arts Development Officer. “We’d love people to come along, enjoy the evening, and say ‘I was there!’”
Paul and Art are played to perfection, bringing in elements of their famously fractious relationship, as well as replicating the beautiful harmonies flawlessly. This is a wonderful show filled with excellent music, nostalgia, and a genuine love for some great musicians.
This is a rare chance to see this beloved repertoire performed live in an intimate setting.
