The Chester Community Orchestra invites audiences to celebrate the festive season with its Winter Concert on Saturday 13 December at 7 pm at Caldy Valley Neighbourhood Church, Chester, CH3 5PR.
The programme will feature performances from all three of the orchestra’s ensembles, offering a vibrant mix of opera and stage music, uplifting overtures, and folk-inspired pieces. Works include Verdi’s Rigoletto, Coleridge-Taylor’s Dance from Othello, Rodney Bennett’s Farnham Festival Overture, and Tomlinson’s Suite of English Folk-Dances. The evening will also include a selection of festive favourites.
The Chester Community Orchestra is a welcoming and inclusive group of players, offering opportunities for musicians of all ages and abilities to play together and learn. The Winter Concert is a chance for its players to share their enthusiasm with the wider community and will be an evening of joyful performances and festive spirit for all audiences.
Tickets are £6 on the door. Entry is free for under 18s.
