Step back into Christmas at Deewater Grange
A care home in Chester is embracing the yuletide season by opening its doors for a special reminiscence event.
Care UK’s Deewater Grange on Chester Road is inviting people to revisit traditions from Christmas past by joining residents and team members for its event on Thursday 18th December from 5pm-7pm
The event is part of Care UK’s “Step into Christmas” initiative, which aims to rekindle Christmas customs that residents remember from their childhood by reliving them and sharing them with the local community.
On the day, Deewater Grange will be hosting a vintage-themed fair, complete with classic festive foods and performances from the community carol, perfect to get guests into the festive spirit.
During the event, guests will have the opportunity to browse a host of craft stalls, featuring jewellery, dried flower arrangements and preserves. Younger visitors will also be able to explore Santa’s grotto, specially decorated by the home team, who will be wearing their best vintage outfits.
