Walk on Fire for Katharine House Hospice
Katharine House Hospice is bringing you an all-new, unforgettable Charity Firewalk, and we’d love you to be part of it.
What is the Firewalk?
The Katharine House Hospice Firewalk is an event where participants walk barefoot across hot embers, guided by the professional UK Firewalk team. It’s a safe, empowering experience designed to build confidence, courage, and a real sense of achievement, all while raising vital funds for local hospice care.
Is it safe?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. Before the walk, you’ll receive full training and expert guidance from experienced firewalk instructors who will support you every step of the way. Thousands of people complete firewalks safely every year; no experience is needed.
Who can take part?
Anyone aged 14+ can take part, whether you’re joining on your own or as part of a group. You might walk with friends, family, colleagues, or a community group, or challenge yourself solo and meet new people on the night.
Why take on the challenge?
By taking part, you’ll be helping Katharine House Hospice provide specialist, compassionate care to patients and families across our community. Each participant’s fundraising can help fund vital care for people living with incurable illness.
What to expect on the night
The Firewalk is more than just a challenge; it’s a fantastic evening out. Alongside the walk, there will be entertainment, food, and refreshments, creating an uplifting, supportive atmosphere and a shared experience you’ll never forget.
