£10 per child with a free adult, book online.
WWT Arundel’s Brilliant Birds Home Educators session offers a two-hour, hands-on learning experience focused on bird adaptations, birdwatching skills and wetland wildlife education. Children aged 8–11 explore how birds use their beaks, feet and feathers, learn the basics of identifying species, and create a craft comparing male and female duck plumage. After the workshop, families can continue their visit and enjoy full access to the reserve for the rest of the day.
The session costs £10 per child, including all-day admission, a private room for belongings, optional lunch space, a free accompanying adult, a session leader and all required equipment. The guided portion runs from 10:15am to 12:30pm, with access to the site until 4:30pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult (maximum one adult per child).
