Lincolnshire Bricks: The Industry and the Buildings
Organised by the SLHA and presented by presented by Ken Redmore and Stewart Squires, this talk will cover the brickmaking industry of Lincolnshire. This was widespread and crucial to the erection of buildings and other structures in settlements across the county. We will first examine the operation of local brickyards and the men who worked in them and then look at some of the county’s brick buildings.
