A compact walled garden set on a slope with a wide range of unusual herbaceous perennials, shrubs and trees, both edible and ornamental, and a gentle ambience. The rear garden is divided into two parts; the lower section comprises extensive herbaceous beds inc a collection of Phlomis and leads to a secluded area for quiet contemplation beside a wildlife pond surrounded by rambling roses.
