Galesyke - Open Garden for NGS
4 acre garden combining formal areas, shrubberies and woodland, dissected by the River Irt which can be crossed by a suspension bridge. In spring the garden is vibrant with azaleas and rhododendrons, in summer by an impressive collection of colourful hydrangeas. Set in the heart of the Wasdale valley the garden has an unforgettable backdrop of the Screes and the high Lakeland fells.
