Coveney & Wardy Hill Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Five medium sized gardens, in the fenland parish of Coveney overlooking Ely Cathedral. Whilst in Coveney, do visit the C13 church and award winning wildlife churchyard. The gardens, this year, are in both Coveney and Wardy Hill, with a welcoming free cuppa and cakes to buy. In Coveney there is 'The Secret Garden', with a Japanese style, giving a peaceful wander in an Oriental atmosphere; a real must. 2 School Lane, is a real plantsman's English garden, packed with interest and presented by a truly knowledgeable horticulturalist, whilst 3a Main Street is a colourful and interesting garden with tricky areas and thoughtful solutions.
