Arlington Square Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Seven early Victorian terraced houses share similarly sized small gardens and conditions, but each has a very different style. From a garden designers exotic contemporary space to an organic wildlife haven, there is something for every gardener, whether green-fingered or a complete beginner. Youll find exotic and unusual plants, gorgeous flowers, lawn paths, hard landscaping, composting, rewilding, thrifty upcycling, fruit and vegetables, herbs, beehives, and even a wildlife pond. These gardens reflect the diverse tastes and interests of friends who met through community gardening, helping to transform and maintain Arlington Square from a drab, rundown space into an award-winning, beautiful, and plant-rich public garden.
