Old Boars Hill Gardens - Open Garden for NGS

Hedderly House built in Victorian times (house not open) has large patios with flower-filled terraces looking over a wide panorama of countryside and sky. Down the meadow slopes walk to the ponds and look back through pine trees to the rest of the garden. Uplands is a hidden cottage garden with tree lined borders supporting shade loving plants. A large sloped lawn is surrounded by many beds of perennial flowering plants and annuals to offer colour throughout the seasons. Yew Cottage has a grand magnolia tree with lovely cottage planting and a lawn to give shade in the afternoon. A special treat is the display of the owner's vintage cars.
