The Homestead - Open Garden for NGS
The Homestead's ¾ acre garden lies within Macclesfield's South Park, fronting onto Ryle's Pool with views of the parkland. Laid out in 1920, the garden is separated by hedges into several 'rooms' with seating areas, inc a sunken garden, a wild lakeside area with a restful cabin, a main lawn bordered by espaliered fruit trees and mature borders, and raised beds for growing cut flowers.
