Established Oxford-based premier folk ensemble, Moonrakers (www.moonrakers.net), are proud to announce the release of their brand new album. Known for their rich, shimmering soundscapes and story-songs, the band bring together cello, harp, fretted instruments, flutes, keyboards and male/female vocals in a blend that feels both timeless and freshly imagined.
Described as “sublime” by BBC Sounds and “startlingly talented” by Oxford Times, Moonrakers perform a spellbinding mix of traditional and contemporary music from across the UK and Ireland. Their concerts are renowned for warmth, fine musicianship, and a deep connection with the audience. This is their fourth studio album and has the hallmark of quality production by Woodworm Studios, the original recording home of Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span.
