Shirley House Interfaith is a small and friendly group that holds regular meetings in Nether Edge with the following purposes in mind.
'The vision of Shirley House Interfaith Centre is to be a place for dialogue, friendship and mutual understanding, in recognition of our common humanity and in celebration of the wonderfully diverse faith communities of Sheffield. By meeting in a spirit of mutual respect, we hope to learn about one another’s faiths and beliefs and thereby to deepen our understanding of our own.'
On Monday Feb 23rd at 7.30 pm the group is holding a debate on ‘Pros and Cons of Religion’. The Pros will be presented by Rachel, who is Pagan, and the Cons by Mike, a Humanists. Then there will be a friendly discussion. So please come along and join in. It’s free and open to all and refreshments are included. It’s at Shirley House Interfaith Centre, 31 Psalter Lane, S11 8YL.
