Step into a world of imagination this February half term as The Alnwick Garden and Lilidorei present two magical experiences for families.
At The Alnwick Garden, join Reg the Hedge for ‘History Hunter’, a brand-new interactive trail celebrating 25 years of The Garden. Follow the map, uncover clues and unlock audio stories from quirky characters including Jaques Warts the Frog, a regal Queen Bee and Jake the Snake.
At Lilidorei, the Clans are preparing for the arrival of Princess Amanita, the newest character from the children’s book, Amanita. Visitors can enjoy live storytelling, character encounters and creative activities throughout the week. Take on the ‘GIANT Mushroom Mapper’ trail, discover story points sharing extracts from the new novel, and explore hands-on areas that introduce children to the building blocks of storytelling.
Daily live storytelling takes place at 11.30am and 1.30pm, and little ones can make their own keychain in the Elf Craft Hut for £1.
Dog Days return from 12 February, running on Thursdays and Sundays. Dogs are welcome in outdoor areas of The Garden (excluding Lilidorei and indoor spaces, except the Atrium).
