Overton Music Festival
This summer, the centre of Overton becomes a spectacular showcase of local musical talent with inside and outside performances, activities, and free entertainment for all ages.
You can expect a wide range of bands, musicians and musical community groups from the local area. Hands-on, music education activities and inspiration for young and old. Food court, craft and gift stalls, lots of fun and a festival vibe.
If you travel by bus (Stagecoach route 76), you’ll be dropped at the heart of the action. And those arriving by train at Overton rail station can enjoy a short, 15-minute walk, passing sheep, ducks and a friendly llama on the way!
Call for volunteers – There’s lots of different things to get involved in from event management to working on the bar, marshalling to managing the door at ticketed events, even warming up the crowd and getting them to join in! All in two-hour slots. To register as a volunteer please contact John at treasurer@overtoncommunitycentre.org? ?
