A fun filled race night in aid of two local charities, firstly Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust, we provide support, advice, information and 2 hour breaks for unpaid carers across Cheshire. The event is for carers across Cheshire East. Then Unit 94 Crewe Sea Cadets who are raising money towards a new roof.
The race uses wooden animals, you but tokens to bet on the races, your name goes into a draw to be a jockey which involves wearing a hat and sash the same color as your animal and rolling a dice so your runner and animal can move. It get's very lively even with adults having a shout for their animal to win. Winners get extra raffle ticket to go into the raffle. The Jockey gets a little cup.
Food on the night will be jacket potato's with chilly, bolognaise or cheese and beans. Food will be served after the first race, with each table being sent at intervals, so the kitchen area doesn't get over crowded.
There will be a bar for the night, also soft drinks and tea and coffee for those that don't drink or mare driving.
Please contact Lynda Noden at Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust for your tickets in cash please.
