Music at the Museum

Hosted by the Friends of Royston Museum, join us on Friday 6 March for our first evening of Music at the Museum in 2026.

There'll be music from two brilliant local bands, Backyard Bonfires and Two of a Kind, plus by purchasing a ticket to this fundraising event, you will be helping the Friends of Royston Museum in their mission to support the ongoing work of the Museum, from collections care to events and exhibitions.

Backyard Bonfires hail from the mecca of musical talent, Hertford, and home of local legend George Ezzra. Coming together in 2018 their contemporary sound is a pleasing blend of Folk, Jazz, R&R Soul and Americana, a truly eclectic mix of sound.

After discovering a shared interest in music , Graeme and John formed Two of a Kind some five years ago. They play and sing mainly folk music from the 60's and 70's, including Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and Ralph McTell but also include country songs and some pop.
