Come and celebrate 100 years of farming at Stourton with a free day out for families, food lovers and anyone who cares about where their food comes from. Meet the people behind local farming and rural businesses, get close to working machinery and enjoy a relaxed day in the countryside for all ages.
Event Highlights
Local farmers, contractors and rural businesses showcasing their work
Farmers’ market with local produce: pork, lamb, venison, bread, cheese, flowers, oils, fruit, vegetables and beef boxes to order
Hands-on countryside activities including axe throwing, forestry demonstrations and living soil exploration
Displays of modern farm machinery: tractors, combine harvester, direct drill and hedge cutting equipment
Farm safaris by tractor and trailer around the estate – running FREE throughout the day
Children’s grain-pit play area and mini ride-ons in the Roundhouse
L.R.S.N. are bringing their health hut with FREE mini health-checks available on site
Plus street food and drinks throughout the day – locally reared burgers, crepes, pasta, ice cream, freshly ground coffee and Hawkstone Beer.
