Friars Gate Archers Community Open Day
Established in 1969, Friars Gate Archers has been active in the local community for almost 60 years. Now a registered Charity (No. 1206778) the Club and its members are delighted to open its doors once again to the wider community.

Why not join us for a day of sport, history, heritage, equipment displays and demonstrations. We use many different styles of bows and arrows, from ultra-modern, incredibly accurate compound bows, to recurve bows, to flatbows, to Asiatic bows, to modern and traditional longbows and to the mighty English warbow
Why not try your hand at shooting a few arrows yourself on our Have-a-go Stand, where you will be guided by one of our experienced, qualified coaches.
