Now a registered Charity (No. 1206778) the Club and its members are delighted to open its doors once again to the wider community. Why not visit us on the 20th June 2026 to find out more about this very modern sport that has its roots deep in the past? Talk to our experienced and knowledgeable archers, and find out if this could be something you might like to do. Discover the difference between target archery and field archery. Why not join us for a day of sport, history, heritage, equipment displays and demonstrations. We use many different styles of bows and arrows, from ultra-modern, incredibly accurate compound bows, to recurve bows, to flatbows, to Asiatic bows, to modern and traditional longbows and to the mighty English warbow Why not try your hand at shooting a few arrows yourself on our Have-a-go Stand, where you will be guided by one of our experienced, qualified coaches.
