On Wednesday 22nd April from 2pm–4pm, the team at Care UK’s Long Stone Manor will be revelling in the nostalgia of the ‘roaring 20s’ to mark one year since the Manchester Road home’s opening.
Visitors can look forward to sitting back and watching performances by Vegas-inspired Funki Feathers dancers and listening to Alastair Grant play the saxophone.
Guests will also be treated to a celebratory cake, specially made by the home’s talented head chef, alongside a delicious spread of party food including a charcuterie board with meats, cheese, olives, nuts, fruits and artisan bread, and locally inspired mocktails.
Laura Foster, Home Manager at Long Stone Manor, said: “We’re thrilled to be inviting the people of Wilmslow and beyond to join us in celebrating this special milestone.
“The year has flown by! We’ve created amazing memories together with the residents, the team and the community, with recent highlights including building a squirrel playground as part of our Wishing Tree initiative and welcoming local schools to participate in intergenerational activities. We’ve also brought joyful characters into the home and hosted countless events and parties to support residents in leading fulfilling lives.
“With our 1920s theme adding a touch of sparkle, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone come together and for residents to share their favourite memories of life at Long Stone Manor while creating new ones. It’s sure to be an event not to miss!”
