An exquisite fusion of words and music, Imaginary Landscapes brings together the spellbinding poetry of Chris Tutton, acclaimed author, performer and raconteur with the semi improvised harp brilliance of international jazz harpist, Tara Minton.

About the performers
Chris Tutton is the critically acclaimed and award-winning author of eight collections of poetry. Coined by Ned Sherrin as “the master of the short poem” his work has also been described as “absolutely beautiful” by Alexander Waugh with Iain Anderson of BBC Scotland noting that it was “philosophy in poetry form” and the Sunday Times commenting on its “dramatic passion and dignity”. Tara Minton is an Australian born harpist, vocalist and composer; proudly endorsed by Camac Harps. Sought after as both a harpist and vocalist, Tara has worked with Bjork, Eska, Stan Sulzmann, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, Opera North, The Royal Ballet and the Australian World Orchestra, and appeared at the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms. A professor of Jazz Harp at London Performing Academy of Music she also sings with “The Blues and Roots Ensemble” a music education charity promoting improvisation, integration and social change through the music of Charles Mingus, Abdullah Ibrahim and Dorothy Ashby.
