Sheffield Skeptics in the Pub was founded in December 2009 and is a good way for people from all walks of life to hear from experts and discuss with them important issues that affect us all, while enjoying their favourite beverage. Meetings are held every third Monday of the month at Farm Road Sports & Social Club, Farm Road, Sheffield S2 2TP from 7.30 pm. There is no need to book and no entrance fee, but a voluntary donation of £3 is welcome to cover speaker's expenses and room hire. CHANGE OF SPEAKER AND TALK
Our April 2026 meeting is hosted by Sheffield Humanists. and is titled 'Biological Immortality' (i.e. living for ever).
Did you know some animals can, theoretically, live forever?! What does that mean for human ageing? Find out from former science teacher Ben Nuttall, who will be answering these (and other) questions.
The previously announced talk by John Hull on Joseph Priestly will be held at a later date.
