Bo Walsh is a Senior Tree Officer with Dorset County Council. In this illustrated talk, he will explain the work of a tree officer, and then broaden his scope into sharing his joy in ancient and veteran trees. More than just 'a pretty face' they are essential providers of 'environmental services' . It turns out that human welfare is far more dependent on a well-functioning ecosystem than we have ever imagined
