Migration Festival Celebrating wildlife, culture and connection

From West Africa to the wetlands
Join us for a vibrant and inclusive celebration of migration that blends wildlife with the rich sights, sounds, and flavours of West African culture.

Through music, food, storytelling, and hands-on activities for all ages, enjoy a lively, multi-sensory experience that explores the remarkable journeys of migratory birds and the shared stories of movement and connection across the globe.

Spring brings an exciting influx of migratory species to WWT London Wetland Centre, particularly those travelling from West Africa. Discover sand martins (from our sand martin hide), swifts, yellow wagtails, common terns, little ringed plovers, chiffchaffs, and several warbler species.

Please note: all activities are included with general admission tickets. There are limited spaces for some activities - please sign up on arrival at admissions.
