Shakespeare's most romantic tragedy of young lovers from feuding families is considered the greatest love story ever told. A timeless tale of love at first sight, secret vows, violent hatred and fateful misunderstandings that lead to heart-breaking tragedy.

Based in East Sussex, Bowler Crab are a small independent theatre company that specialise in Shakespearean performances. With frequent haunts around the 1066 area, Bowler Crab produces UK tours as well as repertoire performances for hire. To date the company has produced over 37 Shakespeare tours. Having performed Romeo & Juliet in 2014, 2018 and 2019, Bowler Crab combines the best elements from each tour for this 2026 production with an all new cast.
