Clay Wren Workshop, at RSPB Frampton Marsh
Join wildlife artist Liz McLelland and let your sculpting skills fly as you learn to create a perfectly palm-sized wren. Liz will guide you step by step through the process as you learn wildlife observation skills and hand-building techniques that will breathe life into the clay. You’ll see your charming creation emerge over the course of three hours as you refine and add texture to your design. Your finished wren will be ready to carefully transport home on the day to air dry ahead of painting and varnishing.
We are also doing a clay frog workshop in the morning. Why not make a day of it and do both?
Step-by-step tuition, ideal for beginners or those looking to improve their clay sculpting skills.
