Entry wristbands with programme will be available from Thornton Nurseries, The Bricklayers Arms, The Corner Shop from Friday 19th (for those who like to plan in advance) and on the days also from St Peter's Church, all participating gardens and the Community Centre LE67 1AH, where there is some parking.
Organised by Friends of St Peter's and supported by WILDWATER Natural Wildlife Ponds. All proceeds will go to the maintenance of our beautiful ancient church.
Accessibility: It should be noted that Thornton is a ridge village and so many of the gardens are on slopes or are terraced and are therefore not ideal for those in wheelchairs or with impaired mobility. Some of the pavements are also narrow. We have done our best to indicate on the programme which gardens are more suitable and can be enjoyed, but the geography of the location is not helpful.
