Wet Felting Workshop: The Rhododendrons of Tatton in Spring

Be inspired by a rainbow of Spring colour with this Rhododendron Wet Felting workshop.
This workshop will begin with a gentle walk in the gardens, taking time to enjoy and observe the rhododendrons and azaleas in bloom, gathering colour and texture inspiration before heading indoors to felt.

Your workshop ticket includes access to both the park and gardens, so you’re welcome to arrive a little earlier or stay afterwards to explore and enjoy Tatton Park at your leisure.

In the workshop, using soft merino wool, silk (and other fibres) and traditional wet felting techniques, you will create a textured felted piece inspired by these iconic spring flowers. You will explore colour blending, layout and movement, building layers to give your work depth and character.

Suitable for beginners and those with some felting experience, this is a relaxed, supportive session with step-by-step guidance and time to experiment.

All materials provided.
