Open Day, Ullesthorpe Windmill
Ullesthorpe Windmill will be open for the day, which is one of the National Mills Days. Although this 5 storey mill does not now have its sails, almost all the ancient machinery survives inside. Moreover there is an interesting range of outbuildings - pig-sty, cart shed, flour store, former bakehouse, etc; and the mill has an intriguing history, all of which knowledgeable guides will be on hand to explain.
