Haydn: The Seasons
Kendal South Choir and orchestra led by Pam Redman, conducted by Geoffrey Field, present Haydn's major secular oratorio The Seasons, with soloists Ellie Blewitt, Kristen Gregory and Jonny Hill. The work will be sung in English, depicting the changing seasons with rural scenes from farming, hunting and drinking, to thunderstorms and sunrises. The event will take place in the beautiful historic setting of Kendal Parish Church.
