Impeccably dressed, endlessly resourceful and blessed with near-superhuman calm, he possesses an almost magical ability to rescue his employers from social catastrophe.
While Bertie Wooster blunders cheerfully from one scrape to another, Jeeves quietly observes, considers, and produces a solution so ingenious that it usually leaves everybody astonished, apart from Jeeves himself, who remains modestly expressionless throughout.
