Come on Jeeves

Step into the world of P.G. Wodehouse for a rollicking-good romp by the creator of Jeeves and Wooster.

The ultimate gentleman’s gentleman Jeeves is on loan to Lord Towcester while Bertie Wooster is away learning to look after himself at mens’ finishing school. Lucky for the cash-strapped Lord of the Manor who simply can’t help getting into scrapes.

Enter demanding relatives, rich widows, bookies and horse-racing shenanigans. Blackmail, capers and just a little light crime mingle in this comic glimpse into a genteel but hard-up world.

Thank goodness Jeeves is there to concoct a cunning plan. Lord Towcester is surely in good hands - isn’t he?

Jeeves: The Ultimate Gentleman’s Gentleman
There have been many famous fictional detectives, spies and heroes over the years, but few servants have become quite as legendary as Jeeves.

Created by P. G. Wodehouse, Jeeves first appeared over a century ago and quickly became one of literature’s most beloved characters. Impeccably dressed, endlessly resourceful and blessed with near-superhuman calm, he possesses an almost magical ability to rescue his employers from social catastrophe.

While Bertie Wooster blunders cheerfully from one scrape to another, Jeeves quietly observes, considers, and produces a solution so ingenious that it usually leaves everybody astonished, apart from Jeeves himself, who remains modestly expressionless throughout.

Despite changing fashions and passing decades, Jeeves endures. Perhaps because, deep down, we all rather wish there were somebody nearby who could calmly solve our problems, smooth over social disasters and quietly restore order before everything descends completely into chaos.
