National Forest Adventure Farm, based in Tatenhill, Burton on Trent, which now attracts over 175,000 visitors a year looking for family fun events in the Staffordshire countryside, will be marking their milestone year with a week of party events in May half term.
The 40-acre attraction, which is run by brothers Tom and Ivor Robinson, has continued to grow year on year since converting farm buildings to create the three-storey indoor soft play area, restaurant and animal barn in 2011.
Families are being invited to come and celebrate from Saturday 23rd to Sunday 31st May with award winning children’s entertainer Just Josh hosting a variety of fun shows, crown and flag decorating and usual farm favourites including Mega Slide Mountain, animal paddocks, jumping pillows, new wooden assault course, JCB Dig Zone and sand play. There will also be a fun dance party at the end of each day bringing music, games and a fun party feel.
The National Forest Adventure Farm is a family attraction based just outside Burton on Trent on farmland owned by the Robinson family. In 2004 brothers Ivor and Tom started to diversify the farm with the first ever maize maze on the site. They then launched the National Forest Adventure Farm in 2011 after converting agricultural barns to create the Farmhouse Restaurant, soft play area and animal barns. The attraction was born from a vision by the brothers of providing a fun, safe environment in which families can explore and spend time together in the countryside.
Today the farm park contains 40 acres of open space including an animal barn with goats, chickens, pigs, horses, cows, rabbits and guinea pigs, pedal Go-Karts, frisbee golf, Jurassic Canyon sand and fossil dig, tractor rides, JCB Big Dig Zone, giant jumping pillows, assault course as well as the UK’s longest mega slide providing 200ft of outdoor fun.
