Dean and Shelton Country Show

The show, now in its 132nd year, The Dean and Shelton Country Show hosts the now famous tea tent, visit the historic produce show displaying bread, jams, vegetables, flowers, photographs and crafts from local villages, which includes a winner's cup presentation. Visit various exhibitors including the Army Cadets and craft stalls, bar, raffle, food including pies, Ice cream, and a hog roast. Marvel at a spectacular array of classic cars, tractors, vintage machinery and steam engines. Entertainment includes a juggler, Punch and Judy, Viking Sweetie Scramble for the children, the Corby Silver Band, a Gun Dog Display and possibly even a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and much, much more.

See Wryngwyrm from the Viking Society bring a Viking Warband to life and do battle against the Saxons in the Battle of Dean, visit the Viking camp and ask them questions about everyday life in the villages over a thousand years ago. There will be 2 fierce battles, including a crowd charge and a chance for children to fight the Vikings and maybe even have a go archery Viking style.
