If you are wanting to find a choir you'll find a happy place with us in the Rock Choir.
The local Gainsborough choir is run by vocal teacher Lulu Grainger. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Stadium for Saracens v Harlequins in 2012 and on top of the BT tower to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Refuge, British Airways Flying Start and the Edinburgh and London Moonwalks. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!
We sing in Gainsborough every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not check out our choir events page at rockchoir.com? There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Gainsborough community together through something as simple as singing for the fun of it.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
